Design Project Architect

As our Brisbane studio continues to grow, we are seeking a talented Design Architect to join our design team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly creative architect/designer to work directly with the Head of Design Queensland and Principals of the Practice, contributing to the design of some of the region’s most significant and design-led projects.

The Role
You will play a key role in the front-end design of major projects from feasibility through concept design and development application, helping shape architectural vision, strategic design thinking and built-form outcomes from the earliest stages.

Working within a highly collaborative design environment, you will contribute to:
– Feasibility and strategic site analysis
– Concept design and built-form development
– Design narratives and project positioning
– High-quality client presentations and competition-style submissions
– Development application packages and supporting design material

What You’ll Bring
You are a highly motivated and design-focused architect/designer with a strong conceptual mindset and a refined design sensibility.

You will bring:
– Typically 5+ years’ experience in architectural practice
– Demonstrated front-end project experience across feasibility, concept and DA phases
– Exceptional conceptual and built-form design capability
– Strong understanding of urban response, planning strategy and design rationale
– Advanced graphic communication and presentation skills
– Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop
– Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
– Experience in Rhinoceros 3D highly regarded
– Confidence working in a fast-paced, design-intensive studio environment

Architectural registration is welcomed but not essential.
